Language School Certificate

Global Affairs Canada can only Apostille or Authenticate a Language School Certificate issued by an accredited institution in Canada. The recognized Language Schools in Canada are Languages Canada, TESL Canada and TESL Ontario. Language School Certificates from these institutions must be Notarized by a Canadian Notary before Authentication. Marriage Certificate

Original Canadian Marriage Certificates issued by the Office of Vital Statistics of the relevant province/territory can be Apostilled or Authenticated by Global Affairs Canada. Marriage Search Letter

Certain provincial Marriage Search Letters issued by the Office of Vital Statistics of the relevant province/territory can be Apostilled or Authenticated by Global Affairs Canada. Medical Document

Medical Documents must be Notarized by a Canadian Notary before Authentication at Global Affairs Canada. Common Canadian Medical Documents that require Apostille or Authentication include:  Doctor’s Note  Doctor’s Diagnosis  Medical Certificate  Prescription  Medical Records 

Name Change Certificate

Name Change Certificates issued by the Office of Vital Statistics for the below provinces/territory can be Apostilled or Authenticated by Global Affairs Canada: Manitoba New Brunswick Newfoundland and Labrador Northwest Territories Nova Scotia Nunavut Prince Edward Island Yukon  

Personal Legal Document

Global Affairs Canada can Apostille or Authenticate any personal legal document once it has been Notarized by a Canadian Notary. The more common personal legal documents that require Apostille or Authentication at Global Affairs Canada include:  Affidavits  Oaths and Affirmations  Powers of Attorney  Property Transfer Documents such as a Deed or Time Share Agreement  Statutory Declarations  Wills  Consent to Travel 

Pet International Health Certificate

Global Affairs Canada can Apostille or Authenticate an international health certificate for dogs and cats issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) once Notarized by a Canadian Notary. 

Regulatory Affairs

Health Canada and Consumer Health Products Canada issues many types of Certificates and Licenses to the medical and pharmaceutical industries. If the Certificate or License bears the original signature and seal of Health Canada and Consumer Health Products Canada it can be apostilled or authenticated by Global Affairs Canada. If it is not an original, it must be Notarized by a Canadian Notary before Authentication. Types
